This is a contemporary line done as a class assignment. It is a spring line that is made to be worn as separates or mixed and matched. The pieces were designed to be made of lightweight, neutral colored fabrics, with knit tops for comfort.
This was done for a screen printing class . The assignment was to chose a theme and then create a screen print design that would work in a real life scenario. I found this image on a free image site and translated it into a 3 color screen print with text.
This is a collaboration with a friend of mine. We were going for Etherical, and I think we pulled it off. The close up of her face kind of reminds me of the " Mother Mary" paintings I have seen in church's. I really love the way her expression is, very soft, and peaceful. Then you look at the whole picture and see something completely different. Kind of naughty, and a little whimsical. I really love that we caught this on film.
I love doing costumes!! They are such fun to work on and see come to life. If you need something made I'm your girl!!!. I recently did the Animie costume, Vincent from final fantasy. It turned out really well, here is a quick look at how it turned out.
This dress is completely made of playing cards. There are 2-3 decks in this one garment. It was just a whim that I decided to play on one day and miraculously it worked and looked amazing so we decided to do a little shoot.
This a garment from one of my lines. The theme was "Persian Spirit". The fabric is hand-dyed, hand-stoned, and embroidered. There are Sworvski crystals in blue, green, and opal on the corset.
This is a random garment I made in a textile class. All the fabric is hand-dyed, hand-painted, hand0-beaded, and hand-woven. I was going for an Aztec feel for the garment and i was lucky enough to have a roommate from South America who had the perfect look for this shoot. The models name is Patrica and the photographers name is Natalie. The shoot took place in a nature preserve in Ft.Lauderdale Fl.
This photo shoot was done at a privet home in a yacht. This was a last minute thrown together thing for me as my model did not show up. The girl in the picture is actually my photographers girlfriend. The assignment for this shoot was " Lifestyle". I persoanly love this shot.
This is a photo taken in spring 07 for a styling class. The assignment for this photo shoot was accessories. Our theme was Oriental Passion. The models name is Danielle and the so was the Photographers. The fan is Chinese in design. We decided to show only the fan in color so all the attention would be drawn to it.
